Our Vineyards

Rooted in Oakville, Defined by Character

At the heart of Napa Valley lies Teaderman Vineyards—14 acres of exceptional vineyard land in the world-renowned Oakville AVA. Nestled on the valley floor and bordered by the cooling influence of Conn Creek, our estate thrives in a unique microclimate where cool morning fog gives way to warm afternoons. A distinctive mix of gravelly and clay loam soils runs through the property, contributing to the layered complexity and refined structure found in every bottle we produce. This is where nature, history, and intention come together to create wines of remarkable depth and balance.

A Vineyard with a Legacy—and a Future

The vineyard was originally planted with Sauvignon Blanc, and for years, the fruit was sold to Robert Mondavi Winery for their iconic Fumé Blanc. In 1993, we began a thoughtful replanting to Cabernet Sauvignon, drawn by Oakville’s reputation for producing some of the world’s most celebrated expressions of the varietal. Today, the majority of our estate is dedicated to Cabernet, while select blocks of Sauvignon Blanc remain—crafted for the loyal fans who’ve followed us from the beginning.

Precision in Every Row

Our vineyard is managed with care and intention. We dry-farm early in the season to promote vine strength, then shift to drip irrigation after veraison to support balanced ripening. Cordon-trained vines are tended block by block and harvested row by row at peak maturity. The result? Estate-grown wines that embody the elegance, structure, and vibrant character that define Teaderman Vineyards.
